Ans. Your right elbow. （右のひじ）
2. What did Helen Keller's parents do to punish her?
（ヘレン・ケラーの両親はどうやってヘレンに罰を与えたか?）
Ans. They rearranged the furniture. （家具の置き場所を変えた）
■ rearrange 「配列[配置]し直す」
3. What has no feet but always wears shoes out?
（足が1本もないのにいつも靴をすり減らすものは何か？）
Ans. A sidewalk. （歩道）
4. What is often brought to the table, then cut, but never eaten?
（テーブルまで持ってきて切られることが多いのに、決して食べられないものは何か？）
Ans. A card. （トランプの札）
■ トランプの札を混ぜて切ることは shuffle という。
5. What makes more noise than a pig stuck in the doorway?
（戸口に挟まれたブタより大きな声を出すものは何か？）
Ans. Two pigs. （2匹のブタ）
■ 日本語の訳文とは違って、英文では a pig （1匹のブタ）という形で数が明示されている。
6. Which hand do the English use to stir their tea?
（イギリス人はお茶をかきまぜるのにどちらの手を使うか？）
Ans. Neither. （どちらでもない）
■ スプーンを使うのである。
7. Why did Robin Hood rob only the rich?
（ロビン・フッドはなぜ金持ちだけから金品を奪ったのか？）
Ans. Because the poor had no money. （貧乏人には金がなかったから）
